Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Ayelite Technologies, trading as Ayelite ("we", "us", "our", or the "Developer"), governing your access to and use of the GPS Map Camera : Geo Stamp mobile application (the "App"), together with any related services, backend application programming interfaces (APIs), and features we make available (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1. By installing or using the App, you accept these Terms in full. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

1.2. Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the policies of the app store from which you obtained the App. Where these Terms conflict with the applicable app store's terms regarding payments or refunds, the app store's terms govern those specific matters.

1.3. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using and uninstall the App.

2. Eligibility

2.1. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit them to use the Service.

2.2. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2.3. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.

3. The Service

3.1. The App is an Android application that lets you capture photos and videos with an overlaid ("stamped") composite of location and contextual information, and that helps you organize, view, and export that media. Core features include:

• Geo-stamped capture — burning GPS coordinates, accuracy radius, a human-readable address, city/state/country, date and time, and a compass heading directly onto photos and videos at the moment of capture;
• Stamp templates — a selection of layout templates and an optional user-defined custom text overlay;
• Photos on a map — viewing your geotagged media plotted on an interactive map with clustering;
• Field reports — creating location-tagged reports with photos and notes, and exporting them as image (PNG) or PDF files;
• Saved locations — saving named GPS locations with an optional range;
• Gallery — a date-grouped library of your captured media with multi-select share and delete;
• Camera controls — flash, grid, level indicator, timer, zoom, aspect ratio, white balance, mirror, image/video quality, and stamp position;
• QR / barcode detection — optional on-device scanning of QR codes and barcodes;
• Sharing and export — sharing or exporting your media, reports, and PDFs through your device's standard share options.

3.2. Local-first design. Your captured photos, videos, saved locations, and reports are stored locally on your device. We do not automatically upload your media to our servers. Such content leaves your device only when you choose to share or export it.

3.3. Offline operation. Core capture and organization features are designed to work offline. Certain features (such as map tiles, ads, push notifications, purchase validation, and analytics) require an internet connection and depend on third-party services.

4. User Accounts

4.1. Anonymous accounts. To enable functions such as purchase entitlement syncing, push notifications, and product analytics, the App automatically creates an anonymous account identified by a randomly generated identifier when you first use it. This account is not linked to your name, email, or phone number unless you choose to upgrade it.

4.2. Optional credentialed accounts. You may optionally upgrade your anonymous account by providing an email address and password. If you do so, you are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and all activity that occurs under your account.

4.3. You must notify us promptly at info@ayelite.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use that results from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4.4. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts in accordance with Section 21.

5. License

5.1. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

5.2. The App is licensed, not sold, to you. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

• use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law;
• capture, stamp, record, or share images, video, audio, or location information of any person, property, or place in violation of privacy, publicity, surveillance, recording-consent, trespass, or data-protection laws;
• falsify, manipulate, alter, forge, or misrepresent any stamped data (including GPS coordinates, address, date, time, or compass heading), or use the App to fabricate evidence or deceive;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, our backend APIs, accounts, or related systems, or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, authentication, or access-control measures;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with feature gating, advertising, watermarking, purchase validation, or entitlement mechanisms;
• use automated means to access the Service, or resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App without our written permission;
• remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices in the App.

7. User Responsibilities — Capture, Location & Consent

7.1. You are solely responsible for the photos, videos, audio, locations, reports, and other content you capture, create, store, share, or export using the App, and for ensuring you have all rights and permissions necessary to do so.

7.2. Consent and permissions. Before capturing or sharing media that includes other people, private property, or restricted areas, you are responsible for obtaining any consent and authorization required under applicable law, including recording-consent and privacy laws.

7.3. Lawful use of location features. The App can run a foreground location service and access precise and background location to provide its features. You must use these features lawfully and must not use them to track, surveil, stalk, or harass any individual without lawful basis and consent.

7.4. Device permissions. The App requires certain device permissions to function, which may include camera, microphone, precise and approximate location, background location, media access, notifications, and network access. You may grant or revoke these permissions through your device settings; revoking a permission may disable related features.

8. Accuracy of Location Data — No Reliance

8.1. Computer-generated, approximate data. All location and contextual information that the App stamps onto your media — including GPS coordinates, accuracy radius, address, city/state/country, date, time, altitude, and compass heading — is generated automatically by your device's hardware, operating-system services, and third-party providers. This information is provided on an "as is" basis, is inherently approximate, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable.

8.2. Factors affecting accuracy. Accuracy depends on factors outside our control, including satellite visibility, signal obstruction, indoor or underground use, device hardware and calibration, network conditions, the correctness of your device clock and time zone, and the data of third-party map and geocoding providers.

8.3. Not certified or authoritative. The App is a consumer tool. The stamps and reports it produces are not a surveying, forensic, notarial, or legally certified record, and we make no representation that they will be accepted as proof or evidence in any legal, insurance, regulatory, commercial, or other proceeding.

8.4. No reliance for critical decisions. You must not rely on the App or its output as the sole basis for any decision where inaccuracy could lead to injury, loss, or legal or financial consequences — including navigation, emergency, safety, surveying, engineering, legal, insurance, medical, or other professional decisions. Always independently verify critical information.

8.5. QR / barcode results. Any QR code or barcode content detected by the App is decoded from the captured image and may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for evaluating and verifying such content, and should exercise caution before acting on any link or data it contains.

9. AI and Automated Features

9.1. The App does not generate images, text, or other creative content using generative artificial intelligence, and it does not transmit your photos or videos to any external AI or content-generation service.

9.2. The only automated image-analysis feature is on-device QR/barcode detection, which runs locally on your device. The disclaimers in Section 8 apply to all automatically generated or detected data.

9.3. If we introduce AI-based features in the future, we will update these Terms and any required disclosures before such features are made available.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1. The App, the Service, and all associated software, designs, templates, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials (excluding Your Content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The App is provided as proprietary software — all rights reserved.

10.2. The names "GPS Map Camera : Geo Stamp", "GPS Map Camera", and "Ayelite", and associated logos, are our marks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

10.3. Third-party components, map data, and SDKs remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to their own terms and notices.

11. Ownership of Your Content and Generated Output

11.1. Your Content. As between you and us, you retain all ownership rights in the photos, videos, reports, saved locations, custom text, and other content you create with the App ("Your Content"), including the resulting stamped images and exported files.

11.2. No claim by us. Because Your Content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers, we do not claim ownership of it and do not access it. You are responsible for backing up Your Content; uninstalling the App or clearing its data will permanently delete content stored on the device.

11.3. Limited license to us. We do not require a content license to operate the core App. To the limited extent you voluntarily send us content (for example, an attachment in a support request), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the requested support.

12. Prohibited Content

You may not use the App to create, store, or share content that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or incites violence;
• is sexually exploitative of, or harmful to, minors;
• infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person;
• is intended to deceive, defraud, fabricate evidence, or misrepresent the time, place, or circumstances of an event; or
• violates any applicable law.

You are solely responsible for content you create with the App. Because such content is stored locally, you are responsible for its lawful use, storage, and distribution.

13. Purchases — Lite and Pro (One-Time, Non-Subscription)

13.1. Free version. The App is free to download and use with a core set of features, supported by advertising (see Section 16) and subject to certain feature limitations.

13.2. One-time purchases. The App offers two optional one-time, lifetime (non-consumable) purchases processed through Google Play Billing:

• Lite — unlocks a set of premium features; ads remain shown;
• Pro — unlocks the full set of premium features and removes advertising.

13.3. No subscriptions, no auto-renewal, no trials. These are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions, do not recur, do not auto-renew, and there is no free trial or recurring charge. You pay once for lifetime access to the purchased tier on accounts and devices entitled through your Google Play account.

13.4. Pricing. Prices are displayed in the App at the point of purchase and are set and converted by Google Play for your region. We may change prices for future purchases; any change does not affect purchases you have already made.

13.5. Entitlements and restore. Purchase entitlements are managed through RevenueCat and tied to your Google Play account. You may use the Restore Purchases function in the App's Settings to recover a previous purchase on a new device or after reinstalling, using the same Google Play account on which the purchase was made.

13.6. No virtual currency or credits. The App does not offer coins, points, credits, or any virtual currency, and contains no consumable purchases.

14. Rewarded Advertising Unlocks

14.1. As an alternative to purchasing, free and Lite users may be offered the option to watch a rewarded advertisement to obtain a single, one-time use of certain otherwise-gated functions — for example, one watermark-free capture or one PDF export per ad viewed.

14.2. These rewarded unlocks are a temporary, single-use convenience granted by viewing an ad. They are not a purchase, not virtual currency, not transferable, have no monetary value, and may be modified, limited (including by cooldowns and frequency caps), or discontinued at any time without notice.

15. Billing, Refunds, and Cancellation

15.1. Payment processor. All purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us directly. Your purchase is also subject to Google Play's terms and payment policies.

15.2. Refunds. Because purchases are made through Google Play, refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and are generally requested through Google Play. We are not the merchant of record for these transactions and may be unable to issue refunds directly. Where we are able to assist, you may contact us at info@ayelite.com, and we may, at our discretion, process eligible refunds through the relevant store or our payment-management provider.

15.3. No recurring charges to cancel. Because the App offers only one-time purchases and no subscriptions, there is no recurring billing to cancel. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

15.4. Statutory rights. Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

16. Advertising

16.1. The free version of the App displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, which may include banner, interstitial, rewarded, native, and app-open ad formats, subject to frequency caps and cooldowns.

16.2. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), you will be presented with a Google-certified consent prompt before personalized ads are shown. You can manage advertising consent and personalization through the prompt and your device's Google settings.

16.3. Purchasing Pro removes advertising. Purchasing Lite unlocks premium features but does not remove advertising.

16.4. Advertisements may link to third-party content and websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.

17. Privacy

17.1. Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we and our service providers collect and how it is used.

17.2. In summary, and without limiting the Privacy Policy: your media, saved locations, and reports stay on your device; we maintain an anonymous (or, if you upgrade, credentialed) account and store limited device, analytics (non-content), and purchase information on our backend; and you can request export or deletion of the account data we hold. Analytics events do not include your GPS coordinates, media files, or report contents.

18. Third-Party Services

18.1. The Service relies on third-party providers, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy, including:

• Google Play / Google Play Billing — app distribution and payments;
• Google Maps SDK / Maps APIs — map display and the map portion of stamps;
• Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — advertising and consent;
• Google Firebase — Cloud Messaging (push), Crashlytics (optional), and Analytics;
• RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management;
• Supabase — backend database hosting.

18.2. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their practices.

19. Service Availability and Changes to Features

19.1. We provide the Service on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. Backend-dependent features may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or third-party failures.

19.2. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time, including changing which features are free or gated. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid removing a paid feature that materially defines a tier you have already purchased, but we may make changes required for legal, security, technical, or operational reasons.

19.3. Continued operation of the App may require you to install updates. We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance for any particular version, device, or operating-system version.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

20.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and Service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.

20.2. Without limiting Section 8, we do not warrant that any location, address, time, compass, altitude, or other stamped data is accurate, reliable, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the App is fit for use as evidence or for any professional, legal, insurance, navigational, safety, or compliance purpose.

20.3. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

21. Account Suspension and Termination

21.1. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service or an account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, or created risk or legal exposure for us or others.

21.2. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App. You may request deletion of the account data we hold as described in the Privacy Policy and Section 17.

21.3. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by Google Play's policies or applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 10–12, 20, 22, 23, and 25) will survive.

22. Limitation of Liability

22.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we or our affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App or Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

22.2. Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from: (a) inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable location, address, time, or compass data; (b) reliance on the App's output as evidence or for any decision; (c) loss of locally stored content (including from uninstalling the App, clearing its data, or device failure); (d) third-party services; or (e) your violation of any law or third-party right.

22.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us (or through Google Play for the App) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 25.00.

22.4. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

23. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our affiliates and their respective officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) content you capture, store, or share; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.

24. Changes to These Terms

24.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the App or other reasonable means.

24.2. Changes take effect when posted (or on the stated effective date). Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using and uninstall the App.

25. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

25.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

25.2. Subject to any non-waivable rights under your local consumer-protection laws, you agree that the courts of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

26. Miscellaneous

26.1. Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.

26.2. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

26.3. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

26.4. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

26.5. Third-party stores. If you obtained the App from a store other than Google Play, additional store-specific terms may apply, and the relevant store's terms govern payments and refunds for that store.
